PROJECT IRONBARK
Interactive Sunshine Coast Minecraft Simulation

CoastTechLabs_2026_Winter_Programs_S.png

A unique capacity-building program designed specifically for ASD children (ages 7-12) & youth (ages 12-17) and delivered by an experienced software engineer and OT.

Held over 2 days for each group in Week 1 of the QLD winter school holidays 2026. The older group days are staggered to limit autistic burnout.

We will work alongside support workers in a supportive, professional environment at the Arts & Ecology Centre at the Maroochy Botanic Gardens, Tanawha. Remote options are also available for participants anywhere in Australia!

Kids will have access to many tools (Create mod, Arnis, Redstone, Python, Procreate & more) to design their own interactive version of the Sunshine Coast in Minecraft in small teams, and then test it out in virtual reality.
