PROJECT FLINTWOOD
Interactive Brisbane Minecraft Simulation
A unique capacity-building program designed specifically for ASD children (ages 7-12) & youth (ages 12-17) and delivered by an experienced software engineer and OT.
Held over 2 days for each group in Week 2 of the QLD winter school holidays 2026. The days are staggered for both groups to limit autistic burnout.
We will work alongside support workers in a supportive, professional environment at the Andrew N. Liveris Building, University of Queensland (UQ), St Lucia in Brisbane. Remote options are also available for participants anywhere in Australia!
Kids will have access to many tools (Create mod, Arnis, Redstone, Python, Procreate & more) to design their own interactive version of Brisbane in Minecraft in small teams, and then test it out in virtual reality.
